With 12 projects behind me, I’m starting to feel like this blog is finally taking a form of its own. Thinking back to my first post, I was obsessed with how successful my work was. All I considered was, Will people like this? What will my friends think? Am I wasting my time? But since then, the projects have become less about how I think I will be perceived and more about what I learn. I am proud to say that I now know how to:

-reupholster a simple chair
-use a sewing machine
-make my own stamps
-keep pretzels from burning

It’s not much, but it’s a start!
